  CM Kippers

The father of XP i.e. Kent Beck, once used the cool term smelly code.

FYI: A code smell is a hint that something is architecturally wrong with your code. In Software Engineering examples of smell (questionable code) include:

+ Duplicate Code
+ Huge Methods
+ Expensive Set-up

It makes me wonder what a smelly old CM kipper might smell of?

+ System Outages
+ Heavy Maintenance Costs
+ Unwanted Surprises
+ Continual Heroics
